Book #4 - Forever Neverland and Book #5 - Borrowed Light

Over the last few days I have finished a couple of books. The first one was 'Forever Neverland'. Ever wonder what happened to Wendy, John and Michael Darling after they left Peter Pan and Neverland? This books starts five years after they come home from Neverland. None of them have taken well to returning. Wendy is seeing a psychiatrist, John doesn't believe what happened, Michael is being bullied at school, and Peter Pan is stuck in their world. When Peter Pan finds out why he can't return to Neverland, he takes Wendy again only to have her end up in the hands of handsome Captain Hook. I really enjoyed this story.

The second book I finished was 'Borrowed Light' by Carla Kelly. This book is an LDS fiction based in the early 1900's. Julia Darling (funny how both stories have characters with the last name Darling...not intended) is engaged to be married. She has serious doubts about the man she is to marry. On a whim she answers an ad in the paper for a cook on a Wyoming ranch. Never expecting to get a response, she is surprised when she does and a few days later is on a train heading north to cook for the Double TiPi and handsome Paul Otto. Conditions aren't what she is use to but it is the escape that Julia needed. Julia with her spunk and Mr. Otto with his commanding presence develop a cute and endearing relationship. I would recommend this book as well, especially if you like historic LDS fiction.

You could have a career writing book summaries. They both sound great!
